Leave a legacy, not a mess. Why every attorney must have a basic understanding of Estate Planning and Probate. This course will inform attorneys on why they must have a basic understanding about Wills, Trusts, medical directives and powers of attorney for their clients, for their families, and for themselves. If you don’t practice Estate planning and probate law it is highly likely that you are not protected yourself from horrible unintended consequences; that your family is not protected and you are missing a red flag for your clients. Your client’s heir can (and do) come back to the deceased “attorney” wanting to know why you didn’t advise mom/dad about their Estate Planning or even that it needed to be complete.
This course will give you the basic information on the following information about Estate Planning.

After this course you will be able to correctly identify the issues for your clients (and yourself) to be able to advise them on the basic consequences of not planning properly.
