Learn From Industry Expert On Dog Law: Gemma Zanowski
Rebroadcasting On April 5th, 2017 @ 10am PST
This two-hour course will provide a “crash course” on hot button domestic animal law issues in Washington state. Animal law is a unique area of legal practice because it expands across a breadth of legal practice areas. Pet owners in the US spend a billion dollars a year on pet care, yet our civil and criminal law infrastructure often does not provide relief or protection in-line with the level of care and affection many people provide to their pets. Animals remain, legally, property, and damages are generally limited by a property-law analysis.

This course will discuss both technical legal practice as well as policy concepts shaping the evolution of animal law in the state.
