Jennifer D. Sharpe is a native to South Florida, born in Plantation in 1975, and an alumni of St. Thomas Aquinas High School (Class of 1993) in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Jennifer was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2001.

 

Prior to obtaining her law degree from the University of Florida - Levin College of Law, Jennifer earned her B.A. in Communication Studies and her B.S. in Accounting from the Florida State University. After graduating law school, Jennifer worked as a CPA at Deloitte and Touche while attending the University of Miami to earn her LL.M. in Taxation.

 

Jennifer practices primarily in the areas of tax, estate planning and creditor protection planning. She currently lives with her husband and daughter in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Jennifer E. Okcular was admitted to the Florida Bar in April of 2005. She practices primarily in the areas of tax, estate planning, asset protection planning and probate administration.


Jennifer graduated first in her class from Stetson University College of Law in 2004. In addition to her studies, Jennifer was an Articles and Symposia editor of the Stetson Law Review, a Justice on the Student Honor Court, a Dean’s Fellow, and a member of the Stetson Ambassadors. After graduating from Stetson, Jennifer attended the University of Florida Graduate Tax Program, where she graduated in the top ten in her class and worked as a Co-Managing Editor of the Florida Tax Review. Jennifer received her B.A. from the University of Florida in 2001.


While at Stetson, Jennifer participated in the Civil Poverty Clinic at Gulfcoast Legal Services in St. Petersburg, Florida where she assisted elderly and low-income citizens with various legal matters including evictions, wills, and consumer protection; and interned for Judge Manuel Lopez in Hillsborough County and Judge David Demers, Chief Judge for Pinellas County. After graduating from Stetson, Jennifer worked as a Researcher for the Elder Consumer Protection project, a federally funded program aiming to educate the public about consumer fraud on the elderly.


Jennifer is a member of the Junior League of Miami, Inc., a women’s organization that promotes volunteerism. She is also a member of the Miami Children’s Hospital Foundation, Ambassador’s Legacy Council and the University of Florida Alumni Association.
