Jay Bagia - Born Fiji Islands, June 24, 1948; admitted to bar, 1980, New Zealand and Supreme Court of Fiji, 1984, Pennsylvania; 1985, U. S. District Court, Eastern District of Pennsylvania. Prior to his own firm, Mr. Bagia has been associated with Samuel & Ballard, P. C., Philadelphia and Berger & Montague, P. C., Philadelphia from 1981 to 1984. In addition, Mr. Bagia was associated with Chauhan & Co., Attorneys at Law, Suva, Fiji, April 1980 and May 1981; Tappoo, Krishna & Co., Attorneys at Law, Lautoka, Fiji, May - June 1981, as Attorney in general legal practice under British Common Law and Commonwealth Legal System. Conducted criminal, civil, and divorce trials in Magistrates Court. PresentedCival Litigation arguments in Supreme Court. In 1985, Mr. Bagia established his own practice before forming the partnership of Bagia & Morley from July 1998 to April 2003.

Ricky A. Palladino devotes the majority of his practice to immigration law but also practices in the area of criminal law and personal injury. Having worked for the legacy Immigration and Naturalization Service prior to entering the private bar, he brings a wealth of insight and experience into his role as advocate and counselor. Mr. Palladino loves meeting individuals from all over the world and aims to foster relationships with his clients that go beyond the parameters of immigration law. Mr. Palladino thoroughly enjoys being an immigration lawyer and brings his pride and zeal for his job into every case.

 

Mr. Palladino was admitted to the Pennsylvania Bar in October, 2006. Prior to joining Bagia & Associates, Mr. Palladino worked as the District Counsel's intern for the legacy Immigration and Naturalization Service. He left the District Counsel's office in the fall of 2003 to serve as the President of the Students' Government Association at La Salle University. Mr. Palladino was awarded the Jules Fiorvanti Memorial Scholarship from the Justinian Society of Philadelphia to attend the University of Dayton School of Law in Dayton, Ohio. After his first year of law school at the University of Dayton, Mr. Palladino joined Bagia & Associates as a law clerk and rejoined the firm after his second year of law school. Mr. Palladino attended Temple Law School as a visiting student for his final year of law school and worked part-time as a law clerk with Bagia & Associates throughout the academic year. While at Temple Law School, Mr. Palladino won a Barrister's Award for Outstanding Trial Advocacy.

 

Mr. Palladino is an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association where he serves as the Philadelphia chapter liaison to Immigration & Customs Enforcement ("ICE") and is a member of the Military Assistance Program which provides pro bono legal services for members of our armed forces as well as their immediate family members. Mr. Palladino also serves as an advisor to the Bilingual Undergraduate Studies for Collegiate Advancement ("BUSCA") program at La Salle University and sits on the Board of Directors for the Council for Families and Relationships ("CFAR") in Philadelphia.

 

Mr. Palladino has spoken on immigration law topics at various colleges and universities such as: University of Pennsylvania, La Salle University, Wilmington University, Brac University (Dhaka, Bangladesh) and Burlington County College. Mr. Palladino has also delivered numerous immigration seminars to organizations including: Pennsylvania Association of Dairy Farmers; Korean-American Grocers Association of Philadelphia; Fairhill Training Center.
