Jeffrey L. Burr has been recognized as one of the top tax and estate planning attorneys in Nevada. His personal client list contains many of the most prominent families in Southern Nevada. Under Jeff’s leadership the firm has received the highest and most prestigious rating of “AV” from Martindale-Hubbell.

 

Jeff was named by his peers as one of the top estate planning attorneys in Southern Nevada in every edition of Best Lawyers in America. Jeff is also a Certified Public Accountant, having previously worked as a tax accountant with the international accounting for of Deloitte & Touche. Jeff has also been a faculty member for the University of Miami School of Law, Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning.

Jason C. Walker is an associate attorney at JEFFREY BURR. He graduated from Weber State University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and a Master of Professional Accountancy (Magna Cum Laude). In 2006, Jason earned his Juris Doctorate (J.D.) with honors from the University of Wyoming. Jason has been published in the Wyoming Law Review and received the American Bankruptcy Institute's Medal of Excellence for the Wyoming College of Law in 2006. After earning his J.D., Jason attended the University of Florida, Levin College of Law, where he earned a Master of Law in Taxation (LLM) in 2007.

 

Prior to attending law school and while attending Weber State University, Jason successfully started and operated his own business. He also worked for a small accounting firm in Salt Lake City assisting during the busy tax return season. Jason has been involved in the Boy Scouts of America as a youth leader and is an Eagle Scout

 

Jason is a member of the Nevada society of financial service professionals, financial planning association of Nevada, and the southern Nevada estate planning council.
