Ms Anderson practices insurance defense litigation specializing in complex federal and state coverage issues and insurer bad faith cases including appeals. Her experience includes formulating coverage opinions and litigating coverage and liability issues for auto liability, property, commercial general liability, homeowners, disability, employers’ liability, and professional malpractice policies. Additionally, she assists insurers in responding to civil remedy notices of insurer violation. She is an approved instructor through the Florida Department of Financial Services. Ms. Anderson has drafted and presented numerous seminars to claims handlers on claim handling, bad faith, coverage issues, declaratory judgments, and general liability issues.
Prior to joining Boyd & Jenerette, P.A., Ms. Anderson worked in private practice with another law firm and eventually opened their Jacksonville, Florida office as the Managing Partner. Prior to going into private practice, she worked as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas H. Barkdull and the Honorable Gerald B. Cope, Jr. at the Third District Court of Appeals in Miami, Florida.
