Jennifer G. CaJacob was born and raised in Lima, Ohio. After graduating from Lima Senior High, she attended Miami University in Oxford, Ohio. Jennifer graduated from Miami University with a Bachelor of Arts, double majoring in History and Political Science, in 1997. She then attended the University of Toledo, College of Law and graduated in 2000.


Following her graduation from law school, Jennifer began her legal career at LexisNexis in Miamisburg, Ohio. In 2002, she started her practice as a bankruptcy attorney. As a Chapter 7 and Chapter 13 attorney , Jennifer has represented debtors in over 1,400 bankruptcy cases. Today Jennifer represents many bankruptcy cases in the Columbus, Ohio and surrounding areas.

Christy advises clients in all aspects of litigation law, with a strong emphasis in the area of creditor/debtor rights and bankruptcy issues. She also has experience in insurance defense and a background in governmental affairs. She has been with the firm since 2007.

 

Creditors' Rights & Bankruptcy
Christy primarily focuses her time in the firm’s Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy practice area; her experience comprises foreclosures, collection actions, garnishments, and more. She is experienced in defending actions to recover preferential payments in bankruptcy, pursuing guarantors for payment, and obtaining relief from the automatic stay in bankruptcy.

 

Gaming/Sweepstakes Law
Another aspect of Christy’s practice is her work for clients with gaming and sweepstakes interests.
